Happy Birthday Whitney
I can't believe she's 6! Where has the time gone? Seems like a year is a long time to wait for a birthday, so Whitney was really really excited about her special day! Being so close to Halloween, she got to go the a special party at aunt Ali's and then we went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Bollschweiler to one of her favorite mexican restaurants (a girl after my own heart!). The day finished up with friends and neighbors over for cake and ice cream! What fun day!
LEAVES ~ LEAVES ~ LEAVES
Will playing in the leaves ever be outgrown? I sure hope not! We went out to rake leaves and spent 4 hours raking and re-raking leaves. The kids were a riot to watch. It was one of those moments I realized it didn't matter what else wasen't getting done. My kids were making memories! Isn't life great!

My Advice......
LAKE POWELL TRIPS
I really believe that the only way to sanity is to take a trip to Lake Powell with out the kids, once a year! We went with the Inkley's and Pendelton's and had a wonderful time! The water temp. was a perfect 78 and the outside temp. was approx. 87. It was wonderful. David and I have tried to get away without the kids at least once a year! Grandma Bennion flew in to watch them and they wore her out! We are ever thankful for her being willing and able to help with the kids! The picture on the right is of Rainbow Bridge. It was about a 45 min. hike from the current water level to the bridge. It was worth it! The picture on the left is of Hole in the Rock. Where the pioneers came down. It was at least an hour hike and possibly the hardest hike I have been on in many years. There is no trail, just huge boulders to get over and around. Did I mention it went straight up! The picture is from about halfway I believe! Amazing to see! I would recommend it!

Wyatt's 2!!!!
I can't believe it! The past two years are going by faster than I think they should have! Wyatt turning two was a BIG DEAL at our house! Mostly because Whitney and Eli really got into making it a day for Wyatt! We went to Carl's Jr. for lunch and they actually got to play on the playground. (something I try and avoid!) While Wyatt was sleeping they helped make cupcakes and wrapped presents, all picked out/made by them. It was fun to watch but it was actually harder letting them help...oh well, they loved it!
Speaking of loving it, Whitney is taking Irish Stepdance this year and is really good! She will be starting piano lessons next week and is excited! Although, we haven't hit the practice stage yet! But we will go with the excitement for as long as we can! She is amazing! We love her.....
Eli, well, he's not in a cast! That's good news! After two broken legs I can't help but cringe everytime he falls down. He's a tough kid, as long as he doesn't fall off the teeter totter or play on the slip-n-slide. Eli is potty trained and doing awesome! Wyatt of course is soooo envious of the attention Eli is getting he wants to be potty trained....stay tuned and we'll see!
